Our client based in Essex is a well established business with an excellent reputation for the quality of their product range. They are currently looking for a Technical Author to join their team reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. The Company are seeking a reliable individual with good writing and proofreading skills to assist the in-house authoring department with technical authorship of O&M manuals, for a wide range of and existing products.

- Operations manuals
- Maintenance manuals
- Datasheets
- Highly motivated, flexible, professional and dynamic, with excellent team working skills
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player
- Working knowledge of Framemaker
- Experienced in technical authorship preferably in similar safety type consumer products requiring compliance with national and international standards
